U-FOES (NO)
Monday brings us a new week of lineup announcements for Høstsabbat 2022 and we begin with none other than Norway’s gruesomely abrasive U-FOES who blew us all away on the Verkstedet stage during last year’s festival. We could not resist bringing them back this year to decimate the Crypt with their scowling, caustic, noise-punk fervour.
The U-FOES experience is both feral and sublime, sinister and recklessly heavy.
Pounding, blunt force hardcore punk trauma batters the listener with a raucous musical affront to the senses. Roaring, crunchy riffs built on blustering, pulsating rhythmic hell. Accosting their audiences with an unhinged union between the Melvins, Torche and Slayer, their turbulent bedlam builds to a point of absolute detonation, a seething pit of fury and finely tuned, swinging aggression.
