Comprised of members from the legendary Breach, Ølten and The Old Wind, Norna comes blasting through the ether with a towering expression of deeply gloomy, sludgy, post-metal power and takes us on a magnificent journey through malevolently creeping swathes of jagged light and abyssal darkness. A journey to the centre of the soul, filled with miasmic vocal agony, tumultuously resonant torment and the heat of smouldering brimstone.
Norna brings with them a colossally rich, harrowing soundscape of pure, thunderous hell, poured like slick, burning tar from the ancient vessels of Gehenna. Exceptionally balanced tectonic heft is the band’s calling card from behind a destructive wall of sound that’s as brutal as it is blindingly beautiful.
Høstsabbat Presents had the privilege of hosting the release gig for their breathtaking debut 'Star Is Way Way Is Eye’ back in February, which was given a 6/6 from disharmoni Magazine.
The sheer power of their performance was nothing short of enthralling and we couldn’t resist bringing these titans back for round two.
